Preserving our Environment

We are always trying to help preserve our environment and improve living conditions for our cattle.  Currently we are working on fencing our cattle out of some of our creeks.   We are doing this by installing automatic energy free waterers in our pastures. We have done this in 25% percent of our grazing pastures so far, and we have done it without the use of taxpayer dollars or government assistance.  As we continue into the future, we hope we will be able to continue doing this in our other pastures.

The waterers work by the cows pushing the blue balls down into the water and drinking.  The blue ball also protects the water from freezing which is why it does not require any energy.  The automatic waterers provide the cattle with clean fresh well water at all times.
